Begining to attack (some war tactics)

Lets Attack:

After your bubble burst after 3 days, you are ready to lauch attack and probably get attacked too.
I would advise you to attack first nearby inactives who have cityhall lvl 0,1,2,3 ,you can get some rss even from 0 lvl but it,ll be only for one time, try to attack higher lvl as you gain power, battling higher lvl player will give you much needed faith with which you can upgrade your important gods, you can get gods too from battles and artifacts also (will discuss artfacts later).

One problem people face is that they get bullied by higher power members as they attack them for rss or they are hostile to your alliance.

What to do when getting bullied?

The basic technique is to make the attacker lose more than gain everytime.
There are also two tricks:

First, The easy one, if you hav an alliance, 

1. Put your army on hide so they don't face opponent army when you get attacked. It's not clever to lose men to defend if you are weak. and worship a damaging god like posidon with heavens lightening skill or wandering plague.
2.Spend all your rss dont let pile it on especially it you get attacked frequently , if you cant spend send it to your vice or any other alliance member.. You don't want the bully to get any off of your your rss , it's better to be using it on defense and offense or sending to your friend than letting him have a single piece of it
3. Now you'll want to upgrade your storage buildings as high as you can so when you get attacked you won't lose most of your resources. Remember that Gold is always up for grabs. You can't protect gold.
4. Your power should be getting higher slightly. Remember to take note of the battle reports. You want to know what he's attacking with and how many.If he's attacking with mainly Infantry units then you'll want to build archers. If he has Archers try to get cavalry and so on.
5. Eventually when you're strong enough you will be able to unhide your forces and really surprise the guy. You'll make him lose way more resources than he could have gotten by attacking and he'll back off.


Second, if u dont have alliance

1. Stand guard your army, dont hide.
2. Send your whole army except 3 of your each troops somewhere or hide it in your wild till the attack. the ideadis pretty much same as above.



Plundering 

Plundering is important for you to grow, you cant rely only on production you need extra rss to build faster .When you get a victory you get to take the resources from the city you plundered. But when you plunder you won't always get the resources you were hoping to get. Sometimes you get a little of each resource but every time you'll get at least a little gold. Why is that?

The reason for this is because of storage buildings and their protection limits. When you plunder a city you can't collect any amount of resource that is lower than the city's protection limit. Let's say you scout a city and you see that the city has 100,000 gold, 50,00 food, 50,000 wood and 50,000 stone. You decide on an attack because this is a nice haul and the city has a low power level but your troops come back with 100,000 gold and nothing else. What your scouts didn't report back is that the city has 100,000 protection on each resource. If you had sent more scouts you would have seen the resource report that looks something like this.

Gold 100,000 Food 50,000(100,000)
Stone 50,000(100,000) Wood 50,000(100,000)

The numbers in the parenthesis is the protection limit on the said resource. if the city had 110,000 of each resource you would have only received 10,000 of each resource plundered.

Scouting is a helpful way to see if sending your troops out will actually be worth your time. 
sometimes there are only traps so its better to scout first, if its worth the risk then go for it.

How to have minimum losses when damaging god set by opponent 

If your opponent has setup heaven lightening then its better to send all types of troops in small and equal power than all power with one unit type. For ex. rather than attking 10k lancers only its better to send 3k lancer, 4k archer, 5k axemen, 6k spear, 7k swords etc, for wandering plague send only 1 unit troops as it works for several rounds


Each unit is strong or weak against other so check your opponents army and plan you attack accordingly like infantry good against horse units but weak against archers and so on, you can get good xp by doing some conquest lvls. I,ll guide you for them later in next tutorial.



Bloodbath

Bloodbath can only happen to lvl 15 or above player and can only be done by lvl 15 or above. In this your army has to face opponent army even if your army is hidden so u got no chance. If u feeling u r going to get bloodbathed(bb) and want to save ur army send them away to long ride or hide them in ur wild at some safe place, but it could b a disaster if they find it so b careful.


How to find battle was plunder or Bloodbath

In bloodbath battle report rss dont appear you dont lose any, in plunder even if u lose 0 rss, the rss column will appear
